A featured image is one that WordPress automatically suggests as a thumbnail for social media. To set a featured image, go to the post editor, click on "Set Featured Image" on the right side of the screen and select the image you want.
3. Using the Yoast SEO plugin
Yoast SEO is a popular WordPress plugin that allows you to manage metadata and images on your website. This plugin has a feature that allows you to select a specific thumbnail to display on Facebook. After installing and activating Yoast SEO, just go to the post editor, click on the Yoast SEO icon (Y) below the text editor and go to the "social media" tab. There we can set a dedicated image, title and description that will be displayed on Facebook.
4. Use the All in One SEO Pack plugin
All in One SEO Pack is another plugin that allows you to control how our pages are indexed and displayed in search results, but also allows you to manage meta data for social media. In All in One SEO Pack we can set a special thumbnail for Facebook. These options are available in the "Social Media" section when editing a post.

The solution can be tools provided by Facebook, setting the featured image correctly in WordPress or using dedicated plugins such as Yoast SEO or All in One SEO Pack.
